Insurance and Billing

All insurance plans differ regarding what they will and will not pay for. Each has unique policies, exclusions, rules, and differences in coverage determined by the company or state.

All appointments are self-pay and you can choose to receive a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement using out-of-network benefits.

If you want to know what your insurance covers, we recommend calling the customer service number on your insurance card. You can inquire if your plan includes out-of-network coverage for therapy. The customer service representative will need a CPT code for the sessions. The CPT code 90891 is used for the initial intake session. For the subsequent therapy sessions, the code 90837 will be used for billing purposes.

What We Cannot Do

Seattle Compassionate and its providers cannot know what your insurance company will or won’t cover. We can support you in determining the costs of your care, but our scope in this regard is limited. Please talk to your provider about session cost.

We welcome all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity, sexual identity, relationship status, body composition, or disability. We pledge to provide a safe space for our team and our clients.
